OK, so here's the plan: I will go green in 2010, and this blog will help keep me accountable for my actions.
You see, it's a little hard for me to be eco-minded, because not a lot of people around me seem to care. I love animals and want to recycle and reduce pollution, etc, but I am often teased and tormented by co-workers. On my facebook, I became a fan of Al Gore and was quickly ridiculed by people I know (including my mother!) I already recycle everything I can, have stopped eating beef, and will hopefully soon install solar panels on the roof of my home. But I want to do more. So, starting January 1, 2010 (or maybe earlier), I will start blogging about my successes and failures, as well as the responses I get from others about what I'm doing.

I'm with ya! I think it's great that you're trying to have a greener year. Blogging is a great way to stay accountable. I'm really enjoying reading it so far :)
